Biography:
Professor Colaborador at UNICAMP/FEEC and Researcher of the PCI (Institutional Capacity Building Program) funded by CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development). He conducts research projects in Big Data, Deep Learning, IIS (Intelligent Information Systems), IoT (Internet of Things), ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), Machine Learning, Sensors, Systems, Smart Cities, and Smart Mobility. He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship (2023), PhD (2022), and Master's degree (2021) at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) - State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Since 2018, he has worked as a researcher at the Visual Communications Laboratory (LCV) at FEEC/UNICAMP. In 2004, he was invited to participate as an instructor in USP/ESALQ MBA programs in Data Science and Analytics, Project Management, and Software. He serves on the Technical and Scientific Committees of various international conferences organized by IEEE and Springer Nature, acting as Chair. He has reviewed over 1600 papers for national and international conferences and journals (including ACM, Elsevier, SAGE, Hindawi, IEEE, IET, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Wiley), recognized by Publons and with certifications. He has authored numerous publications in high-impact conferences (ACM, IEEE, Springer) and journals. Since 2018, he has been a professor at Extecamp (UNICAMP Extension School) teaching various courses, and since 2023, he teaches graduate courses at FEEC/UNICAMP. He is the YP Chair of the IEEE Sensor and Systems Joint Council South Brazil (2022–present). He is an editor of the journal *Measurement* (Elsevier) with an Impact Factor of 5.2 and CiteScore of 10.2, editorial board member of *Discover Applied Sciences* (Springer, IF 2.8, CiteScore 7.0), and *Journal of Intelligent Systems in Current Computer Engineering* (Bentham Science). He has been invited as Associate Editor for *IET Circuits, Devices & Systems* (IF 1.0, CiteScore 3.8) and *IET Wireless Sensor Systems* (IF 1.5, CiteScore 4.9), as well as Academic Editor for *PLOS ONE* (IF 2.9, CiteScore 5.6). Additionally, he serves as editor for Springer Nature indexed book series: *Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems* (LNNS, vol. 1040), *Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies* (SIST, vol. 402), and *Communications in Computer and Information Science* (CCIS, vol. 2207).
