Prof. Peiqun Lin

Biography:

Peiqun Lin (born 1980, Raoping, Guangdong), Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serves as Director of the Department of Transportation Engineering at South China University of Technology (SCUT), where he leads both the Big Data & Traffic Network Analysis Laboratory and the Intelligent Connected Transportation Systems Laboratory. Recognized as an Outstanding Young Teacher in Guangdong Province and recipient of the Guangdong Higher Education Outstanding Youth Innovation Talent Cultivation Program, he was also selected as a university-level candidate in Guangdong's "Thousand-Hundred-Ten" Talent Development Program. With over 50 publications in prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Transportation Research, and China Journal of Highway and Transport, his work has been indexed over 60 times in SCI/EI databases. He has led five National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, comprising two General Projects, one Youth Project, one sub-project of a Major Program, and one sub-project of a General Project.

Biography:

Professor Dr. Seyed Mohammadreza Ghadiri is a renowned multidisciplinary expert with over two decades of experience in academia, research, and engineering. His diverse expertise spans engineering, business, and management, making him a prominent figure in these fields. A prolific scholar with over 100 publications, including journal articles, conference papers, books, book chapters, and a patent, Professor Ghadiri is widely recognized for his expertise in research methodology, data analysis, modeling, and design. His recent research focuses on cutting-edge topics such as smart city concepts and the integration of AI and VR in education, reflecting his commitment to advancing innovation in these evolving areas. Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Ghadiri has held several high-ranking leadership positions, including Dean of a School, Head of a Department, Director of a Research Center, and University Senate member. He currently serves as Chancellor of the Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI) in Switzerland, where he continues to promote academic excellence and innovation. An esteemed international speaker, Professor Ghadiri has delivered keynote addresses and guest lectures in countries such as China, Iran, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, Vietnam, and India, among others. His exceptional contributions have earned him numerous prestigious honors, including the Outstanding Scientist Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Best Dean of School Award.
